An Adventure to Change Perspective

Hi! Hello there. Welcome. Thank you for being here. My name is Lexi and I love to travel ✈️ I even have a map of the world as a tattoo, along with a compass and future plans for an entire sleeve which has sparked many conversations with friends and strangers alike.

I went many places as a kid on family vacations which transitioned into a love for travel as an adult. Most of my travel has always included family, but now I often travel solo and have many incredible experiences to share. My encouragement to solo travel came from a friend who also loved to travel and told me about his solo trips across the country. I was hesitant at first, as a single female traveling alone made me nervous. However, I’ve always had a fiercely independent nature about myself and had accomplished many other things on my own ✅ As Mom dropped me off at the airport for a trip to Montana, she said, “dang you for being so fiercely independent… be safe”. Haha! Secretly I think she was more worried about me being eaten by a bear than traveling by myself.

My goal is to share my travel experiences with you and hopefully give you a nugget or two to take with you. As much as I enjoy an adventure in another place, there are plenty of things that happen in my daily life that can only be described as another story for friends and family to shake their heads at, along with the phrase, “oh Lexi 🤭”. I hope to share several of these encounters with you.
